It ie a very good hotel.My room was clean on arrivel.The shower was clean and spaciouse The shopping center is so close to the hotel.Furniture was clean and had a lot of space to put my cloths. Beds were clean and comfy. Nandos is next doar and good for dintre.Clean bathroom with toiletris that I need.great stay

Disrespectful GM

We arrived a little early so we left our luggage with them. In one of the bags, there were two wine bottles which we brought from abroad as a wedding present that we were going to. While the lady was giving back our bags, my boyfriend went in with her to give her a hand and he saw how she accidentally pushed one of our suitcases and dropped the bag with the wine that was on top of it (stacked by them) and broke one of the bottles. The staff then just simply gave us the bag full of still dripping wine and broken bottle pieces. I immediately got upset and asked what will be the solution to this. I understand they did not do this deliberately, but they still did it. The staff did not how to deal with the situation, so they called some other lady, to whom I said the same thing. She just turned around and called the GM. Mr Wajid Muhammad was immediately disrespectful, he said that I am making opinions about who broke the bottle and how they handle their luggage (even though my boyfriend was in the room and saw everything), he also told me that they do this service as a favour to their guests (like that is not a common practice in the hotels) and that it is my own fault that I left something so precious with them. He also said and I quote "I took time of my day to come talk to you" like I asked him to come and I should be grateful for his presence! It is not my fault that his staff is not capable of handling situations like this themselves and they were the ones who called him. Don't get me wrong, other staff members were very nice and empathetic, but they did not know how to handle the situation. Mind you I was clearly upset but I did not shout, swear or scream at anyone. This was something that I couldn't just go and buy in the store, it also took us a long way to carry and was supposed to be a personal gift, so it had a tremendous value to me. Mr Muhammad then told me to come up with a solution and email him, so he just brushed me away, because of course his time is more valuable than mine and I am to deal with the problems that his staff caused on my own. His tone of voice also changed once my boyfriend came in (he was carrying our bags to the room while I talked with Mr Muhammad). By that time I did not say anything else because I could not handle such disrespect coming from him. I myself work in hospitality and have hotel background and this is no way to deal with a customer. In the end, I was not offered any compensation for this and had to spend a lot of time and resources to come up with a different solution on my own.

Weekend stay for birthday . Clean and welcoming hotel . Nothing was too much trouble . Bed comfortable . Shower was perfect . Would recommend hotel if you’re up in London. Short walk to Westfield and tube . Restaurants next door and plenty of pubs around . Stayed here as near to abba voyage . Which we caught an Uber to . Only £6.50 .

Poor - really uncomfortable beds

Last minute booking as we decided to extend our stay in the area. Area of reception and dining has nice decor. Breakfast good if down before 9, otherwise the hot food is tough and barely warm. The room is small. Hairdryer in room. Towels. Basic coffee sachets and a kettle with a short lead. Lack of sockets so extension socket on the desk. Good hot shower but bathroom is barely one step up from a portaloo. I’ve used nicer ones at camping sites. Air con didn’t work. It was a basic old fashioned switch so I’m not surprised. We had to leave the window open. Noise from the back of Morrisons. The beds were AWFUL. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and can’t remember ever waking up in so much pain due to a very poor mattress. It’s not a proper mattress and has a very thin topper. uncomfortable sleep and hip pain next day. I am normally fit and well. We reluctantly booked another hotel for our final night due to the discomfort and lack of sleep, losing the £123 paid for this place. They refused to refund our breakfast charge for the next day. The new hotel we booked is far superior with a stunning room and incredible facilities, much better location and only £36 more for the night. The Ibis in Sheffield is much nicer.

It is a great hotel.Good location.The hotel is very clean.My room was clean.Shower clean and good.Clean bathroom.Room spacious and clean.Great view.clean furniture.Everything was perfect.I will definitely be keeping coming back.I olso had nice biscuits in my room.
